How can I stop my cat from making bowel movement in the HOUSE?

Sometimes she does it in the basement in the same spot it's weird and annoying or she will use her litter box. Is she trying to tell me something. How can I stop my cat from making bowel movement in the HOUSE?
some cats are just plain funny about the box. some wont use the box if there is something in it like the last poop she did. is she old, or fat? arthritus may be the culprit. sometimes getting to where the box is or even getting into the box is difficult. my 11 year old cat is fat and i believe has arthritus. she just decided one day she was going to pee in front of the box instead of going in. thought it was a territorial thing..it wasnt...thought it was a uti...it wasnt. she had a hard time in the cat box because it was a tight squeeze for an older, fat, arthritic cat. i got a new box that was very roomy, cut the opening lower so she didnt have step up high to get into the box and the problem went away completly. those are just a couple of ideas...but of course you must rule certain things out by a trip to the vet....or get lucky with your first idea, cheapest idea, etc.How can I stop my cat from making bowel movement in the HOUSE?
if it is arthritus...a second cat box in the basement is a good idea. she obviously [if its arthritus] is having a hard time and doesnt want to make the trip upstairs or wherever her box is. Report Abuse

put the litter box on the spot she keeps doing her business. She will get used to the litter box. Once she is used to the litter box, move it closer to the spot you want it step by step
she maybe sick. try to keep her from the spot she usually uses. talk to your vet about it also. and if you see her about to go on the floor then pick her up and put her in her litterbox

  • How can I keep my box spring from making lots of noise?

My box spring is making lots of noise with every movement I make. I would like to eliminate the noise. Does anyone have a any good in home suggestionsHow can I keep my box spring from making lots of noise?
only use the mattress as a step to get on the ceiling fanHow can I keep my box spring from making lots of noise?
I've had this problem before as well. I put some extra wood slats... a hard wood that isn't too think, sitting in the bed frame (under the box springs) for more support. I cut them to fit just in the frame, going from side to side. This gave it a little more support and helped with the squeeks.
Try doing it on the couch... or in the shower...
dont do the stuff thats causing it to make noise...lol

What are some interesting facts about clay and making pots?

What are some interesting facts about clay and making pots? I have a project due tomorrow on it and I can't find anything. Please help! What are some interesting facts about clay and making pots?
    Different areas have different styles

    The shape

The color of the clay and the type of glaze can tell something about what is available locally and if there are elements in the pot that could only be traded for from some distance

The colors can also tell some about how it was fired and the types of kilns

Beginners start small. They try to get big like big is this great goal

There are some especially in asia that try to make multiples as similar as possible using measuring sticks when throwingWhat are some interesting facts about clay and making pots?
They will survive forever, and eventually be the only sign we were here at all. Eventually metal will break down, obviously textiles disintegrate, everything we've created will disappear, but ceramics won't. It's beautiful.

The decoration usually gets really really ornate and flamboyant right as a culture 'peaks'.

The Japanese actually revered flaws in tea bowls - it was all part of the beauty. If it slumped, or had cracks, or weird stuff stuck to the glaze, etc., it was all the more wonderful.

What kind of facts are you looking for?
Done right they last eons. As a matter of fact some of what we know about ancient civilizations come from the ceramics they left behind. Furthermore the heat tiles on the shuttles are ceramic.

What are the basic steps of installing and making operational a second hard drive?

Please list the required steps to install a second hard drive in my HP Pavilion 7955.

I will use this 250GB drive as my backup drive...mainly to store all of my pictures and videos prior to burning to DVD.What are the basic steps of installing and making operational a second hard drive?
Unplug from AC outlet, open case, find slot to physically place drive. Cable the drive off the same ribbon as the CD drive. check the CD drive dip switch which is probably set to master, I would switch it to slave, dip switch the HD to CS or Master, different drives need different settings, plug in drive power, plug in main power.

Start Windows, go to Start, Run, type in ';diskmgmt.msc'; and say ok. You should see the new HD, right click on it and you should have create partition and then format.

What are some good books to get on making your own baby food for beginners?

This will be all new for me when the baby arrives so I was something with lots of details. Thanks. What are some good books to get on making your own baby food for beginners?
I have the book Everything Cooking for Baby and Toddler

Also, the website wholesomebabyfood.com is goodWhat are some good books to get on making your own baby food for beginners?
go to onestepahead.com they have books, food processors, food mills, and these really useful baby cubes that you can freeze the food in for easy to go containers.
Making your own baby food is so easy! To start off, you use just one food at a time like vegetable or a fruit. You can cook it until it mashes easily and then mash it until very smooth (you can add a little water if you need to). Freeze it in an ice cube tray, which gives you single servings to thaw.

You'll want to wait until the baby is around 6 months old to start this. Then, if the baby still pushes the food out of the mouth with the tongue, then you'll want to wait a bit longer. Once they don't do that anymore, they are really ready.

Try one new food a week so that if an allergy develops, you'll know what food caused the reaction. Once your baby has eaten each food individually, you can start mixing them until you are eventually just mashing up whatever you are eating and they are eating the same as you.

A great book is Whole Foods for Babies and Toddlers by Margaret Kenda, which you can buy at:

    http://store.llli.org/public/profile/198

You can contact your local La Leche League Leader for a pamphlet called Baby's First Solid Food.

    I really recommend the book, though. The fact that my daughter is the girl on the left on the cover has nothing to do with my recommendation. %26lt;grin%26gt;

Really, it's so easy you don't need a book, but it's a great book if you feel you need one.
Go to this link, theres a bunch of rated books

    http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search鈥?/a>
I didn't use a book, but I did make many kinds of food for my little guy.......some of the commercial stuff is vile. Homemade applesauce is easy, cook down the apples and strain. Baked sweet potatoes, steamed carrots both as simple as can be.

When you get to more fibrous foods you may want to invest in a food mill. Some veggies are impossible to get smooth, and meat is another huge challenge, but a food mill is designed just for this task.

Just leave out the fats, and season very lightly.....if it tastes bad to you, it probably is. I have a Bullet Blender now, and it works wonders at processing foods down.

Baby will eat what you eat........1 new food at a time. Just avoid heavy fats that baby does not need. You can also make food ahead and freeze it in ice cube trays, then put in baggies. You just have to select what you want to feed for the day.

You will definately need a fine sieve and some type of food processor, steamed veggies and fruit retain the most vitamins.

    Good Luck!!

What is a fair percentage to deduct from the list price of a foreclosed home before making an offer?

The house is located in Maryland and has been on the market for 3 months. The list price is $384,000.What is a fair percentage to deduct from the list price of a foreclosed home before making an offer?
';Fair'; is a relative term. Look at the condition of the house, the value of houses in the neighborhood and your finances. Real Estate is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, not a penny more (sorry to all the appraisers out there...but your reports don't mean much) so make a good clean offer and enjoy the house. What is a fair percentage to deduct from the list price of a foreclosed home before making an offer?
at least 10%. They can always counter offer.
Have a realtor figue this for you, they will know how much that is owed on the property and will help you determine a good offer. on this house it could be as much as 20% less than is due them. it is important for loan companies not to have bad loans on their books as it reduces what they are able to loan to others. This would be a 'Short Sale' in our terms.
