Is there an internet based money making program that actually works?

There are 100 infomercials out there about internet based business programs. Has anyone found one that actually works? I understand I'm not going to make 100k a month, but I am looking for something to fill some free time and make a little extra money. I am currently a member of two sites, one is a Get Paid To program and another is a freelance site.





The freelance site is called Elance, and what you do is do work for people like write them x amount of articles about the subject or design a website something like that. People on this site that do it often and get good reviews etc do make a lot of money, I think some of the top make about $50k a year, that is great imo writing articles for people =P





It is not the easiest though, you have to make a reputation for yourself and there is a lot of competition.





The other site that I'm a part of is the GPT site. Basically what you do is fill out free offers and surveys and they pay you. It's not as much as the Elance site, but it is easier and there is no competition. I think the top person, from what I've seen and what people posted on the site made $1800 a month.

I'm glad to see that you're not looking for the ';get rich quick'; thing as that just isn't going to happen.





Like you, I was looking for something to fill the void, to help out with our retirement and after many hours of searching and researching I have chosen to become an international home business trainer (see my profile for details if you'd like), but not everyone can do that so I'll make a few suggestions for you in the hopes that you find what you're looking for.





You can become a freelancer, taking what talents you have to the Internet. You can get into advertising, knowing that the competition is fierce. You can try the ';jobs'; and ';surveys'; but that can be futile.





What I do suggest is opening up your own on-line business where you can work from the comfort of your home and hey, with gas prices going crazy, that's a pretty good idea!





If you think you'd like to look into this option, find something that is at the front of the market trend, preferably a company that has everything in place for you including training and support, but most importantly, find something that you're really into....be it sports, music, books, you name it.





Once you find something that fits your criteria such as whether you want to do direct sales, carry inventory, do shipping and handling, demo parties.....or not....then make sure they're legit with the BBB. If they are, and you're excited about getting into something that you can call your own, then go for it!
There are legitimate work from home jobs and opportunities, but the great problem is a lot of online scams label themselves as ';legitimate'; businesses.





I would suggest that you try affiliate marketing. There's no need to buy expensive ebooks or coaching programs to learn how to do it. In fact, if you have minimum writing skills, you can write articles to promote other people's products and earn sales commissions. Get the two free reports offered on the websites listed in the source box, study them, apply what you learn and you'll be ready to start making money without outlay.
Its possible to earn good money online through a number of different methods but it is not always as easy as the hype makes it out to be.





There is still allot of work involved and time before any decent money is earned.





Avoid all the scams where you need to pay to sign up to a program.





The safest way of earning online are through adsense, blogging, ebay, affiliate selling, freelancing and some survey sites.

it will be better to contact some organizations in your area for internet based job. some of them may offer such jobs which can be performed from your home. it is risky to get such job on internet as there may be scams.
