I'm not yet 18 and i would like to make an appointment for a blood test to see if i'm really preg. but i don't know what to say to the lady's that answer the phone when you call to make an appointment? especially if one of them is my friends sister. First, have you taken a drug store test and gotten a positive? If so, then yes, I would call to make a dr. appointment. When you call I would just tell them that ';you have some questions that you would like to discuss with the dr. in person'; when making your appointment. In most states, your mom does not have to come with you.
you don't need to tell the receptionist what the appointment is for. you just make an appointment then when your there you tell the doctor you think you may be preg. and he'll go from there. no your mum doesn't have to be there. it doesn't matter how old you are its patient doctor privacy.
everything is supposed to be kept confidential. if anyone tells they will legally lose their job.





but if you are really worried about it, just say you want to only talk with the doctor bc it is something important.





they cant make you tell them.
