I've heard that you can make money from affiliate Marketing. Is it worth pursuing? Is it the same as blogging? What is the best way to make money and how much can you make per month?Affiliate Marketing- How quickly can one start making money?
Everyone on this page (so far) is offering you a program (except for Helen) and they all benefit from those programs if you join the programs. But that does not answer your question ...
A blog is a type of software that helps you post (display) small articles on the web without having to set up a website. Most software for blogging are free.
Go to http://blogger.com to see some examples or set up a free one.
What's the point of blogging? Well, you can start talking about a specific topic eg beahc vacations. The you promote your blog and get traffic (visitors) to it and build a relationship with your readers.
Then if yor recommend a product or a holiday package from a company some of your readers may buy. If you are an affiliate for tht company, when somone buys you get a commission. The company pays you directly.
So selling (by promoting or recommending) products from other companies that you are registered with as an affiliate is called affiliate marketing.
You can do affiliate markeitng with or without blogging. There are a huge number of ways.
Can you make ';quick'; money, from affiliate markeitng? Yes and no. It is possible to make ';quick'; money but not for someone totally new.
When you know what you're doing, you can do anything quickly.
First you need to learn about affiliate marketing. Do some searches. Do not join any prigrams. Just learn from the info already published and there's a ton of it out there.
For example, do a search on
http://ezinearticles.com
for ';affiliate marketing';. It is completely free. There is no registration or anything else. And LEARN LEARN LEARN.
How much can you make? There's a guy called Chris Wilson I think. He started with affiliate marketing (after learning what to do ... took him a few months). He started earning a few hundred dollars per month .... and eventually hit $100,000 per month.
There are people who make 100K per week!
But the vast majoirty of people never make any money because they do not learn the basics and the intermediate and then the advanced stuff. They learn just a little and don't even apply half of what they learn.
They then give up and move on to another ';scheme'; or ';program'; and there are tons of those as you can see from the recommendations (offers) on this page.
And they continue to jump from one program to another. Literally millions of people go on program hopping for 2 or 3 years and spend thousands each and earn nothing.
Don't be one of those. Just learn, apply, monitor the results, make little (but very important) improvements and monitor again. This continuous process willl make rich beyond your imagination and you don't need any schemes or programs or tricks or shortcuts (that don't exist).
Happy learning and earning

You can do it with blogging and it is helpful if you have reviews of products and then link to the affiliate product after it. People want to get some idea of what they'll be purchasing first. It is good to also have an email newsletter on your site blog for follow ups.

I have never made money with affiliate marketing. It is not blogging, but can certainly be intergrated into a blog.
Affiliate marketing is linking to items such as from amazon to your website. If someone buys an item from amazon that came from your site, you get a percentage of that sale.
So you have to aggressively advertise your site in order for people to come to it. Then it's up to the person to actually complete a purchase.

We have an animal in our woods making a very weird screeching sound?
We live in the Piedmont area of North Carolina. Recently we have heard this animal making a very loud and weird screeching sound. We can hear it running through the forest as it runs over the leaves. My neighbor thinks its a coyote but I've heard coyotes and none that sound like this. I think it might be a fox. Does anyone have any ideas? We are worried about our domestic cats that stay outside some of the time. Thanks for your help and this is a serious question. We have an animal in our woods making a very weird screeching sound?
Could it be a wild turkey with an off-key voice? Turkeys do make some really odd sounds from time to time, and they also run most of the time out ahead of whatever disturbs them, rather than fly.We have an animal in our woods making a very weird screeching sound?
For anyone who cares: it turned out to be a fox. We saw it last night, right before dark and saw it making those weird noises. It's a little gray colored fox. I didn't realize how small those things are! Report Abuse
Owls make screeching sounds, and so do some night birds.
But that would not explain the running through the leaves sounds so I would have to guess maybe it is a coyote and if it is then you should be worried about your kitties. If you can hear the running through the leaves sounds then the screeching sounds would be very loud.
Then again it can be the one eyed monster that lurks in the leaves and screeches at the moon.
It would be a great help if you could record it if it is still screeching. If you do, try to send it to me or put it in the internet, you know.
It could be a bird or a mammal. I don't know of any more animals that screech. It could also be an animal still waiting to be discovered. Or you are just a clairaudience.

What cheese is the best cheese for making cheese on toast?
My best mate and I spent a considerable amount of time during our weekly pub sessions discussing how to make the best version of the best post pub snack, cheese on toast. We were amazed at how many variations we came up with for this simple snack (we were quite drunk by this point) but couldn't decide on the best... Is it cheddar, red leicester, edam or goats cheese? Do you use brown sauce, worcestershire sauce, or marmite? Does it go on top or underneath the cheese? What cheese is the best cheese for making cheese on toast?
Davidstow Cornish Cheddar.
With brown sauce on top and it must be HP.What cheese is the best cheese for making cheese on toast?
no way red leicester - the best cheese ever, you can eat it while waiting for the cheese on toast to be made. worster and HP sauce together :D

Cheez Whiz on toast
has to be chedder
First lightly toast your bread in the toaster to make it firm and suitable for use as a structural element. This is the base for all of the following recipies.
Next spread a light film of margarine on, and then a layer of red hamburger relish.
Now grate up a load of strong mature cheddar, a smaller amount of a white crumbly cheese like cheshire or wensleydale, and a smaller amount again of parmesan, then mix all these cheeses up.
Sprinkle this cheese on top, and then grate a little bit of black pepper over it all before toasting it to a nice golden brown.
OR
lightly spread margarine on your toast.
Chop up a red onion into some nice thin rings and disperse these randomly over the toast.
Now grate some strong cheddar into a bowl and break an egg into it, and add either some chilli flakes or else a dash of tabasco.
Spread this over the top of the toast and onions and again toast it until it's golden brown.
What a waste of good alcohol

Being an American, one would think my answer would be ';American Cheese';, but it's not. I personally love Havarti on ';grilled cheese'; sandwiches. It's creamy, it melts beautifully, and has a wonderful taste. As for condiments, I've never used any. I think a grilled cheese sandwich is best accompanied by tomato soup and a large glass of ice-cold milk! :-)
I'd go for a red leicester. Try it with mushrooms and onions underneath it. Or, try it with a olive/sundried tomato paste under it.
The question is, what kind of bread is best....?
I say Warbutons Seeded Batch....
the best cheese on toast is with your favourite cheese with any or no condiments !
Irish Mature Cheddar with English mustard underneath.
melt cheddar in a pan with some beer to help it melt, add hot mustard, worcestershire bubble 2 minutes, take off heat, add 1 egg, pour over buttered toasted bread, place under griller 2 minutes, yum
red leicester with branson pickle
cheddar, grated and put on top of half toasted bread. pop back under the grill untill the fat floats to the top. to make it really special add a bit of fried bacon
Mitchelstown mature cheddar with slices of small ripe cherry tomatoes on top, grilled until warm and melted and a small dash of worcester sauce to finish. Lovely!
Ayrshire melts into a lovely gooey chewing-gummy texture.
worcestershire sauce or beer in it. lovely yum
definately cheddar with bacon bits
red leicester for that fresh from the nuclear power station color!
CHEDDAR WORCESTER SAUCE ON TOP AND LET IT BURN SLIGHTLY
my husband who is a cheese freak says that red leicester cheese is the best. thickly sliced with worcester sauce on top so that it deliciously melts into the bubbling cheese. yuuuummm!
Personally, I love a good Welsh Rarebit (or Rabbit, to some); basically melted cheddar with some dry mustard, a dash or 2 or Worcestershire, maybe a bit of sherry or milk to blend, then pour over toast....the BEST!
Combination of mature cheddar and gruyere. Yum.
OOOOh. Well its really a question of taste, and having run a pub and had this very debate around the bar during a lock in, with all the customers and my partner, who was a master chef, we decided it came down to what you had been drinking that night. If you've just been out down the local for a few lagers, probably cheddar with worcestershire sauce will do rather nicely, on top of the cheese. If you've been drinking real ale, you may want to go down the red leicester route, maybe with sauce, probably worcestershire again. If its summer and you've been at the sangria or wine all night, then fried haloumi with olive oil, basil and some crushed black peppper hits the spot. Edam however is always a no no. It just doesn't melt. I also quite like mozzarella on toast, but probably best on posh italian bread.
But I think, and we came to this unanimously, about three in the morning, all shouting together, that cheddar, on its own, on toas, with a mug of tea, cannot be beaten, so we all trouped off to the kitchen and made some, nothing was left, except the mess. I suggest you have some drinking sessions so that you can conduct experiments after the pub shuts. Happy cooking!
mature cheddar.
Catherdral city cheddar with fruity sauce on top is my favorite - or scrambled egg on toast with grated cheese on top - yummy!
Im a Red Leicester user. How about putting 2 teaspoons of Escona red pepper sauce on each slice of untoasted bread before you put the cheese on? Its best left for a couple of mins after you take it from under the grill. That way its hot but not TOO hot
i use cheddar or red liecester. I wouldn't use any soft cheeses because some of them you might as well spread on your toast cold, and then when they melt they go everywhere. Out of the sauces i would use worcester sauce
Mature cheddar with Brown sauce yum
Definitely a mature cheddar. Then prick melted cheese and shake Worcester sauce over it.

When is it a good time to start making oboe reeds?
hi i am oboe player and when i went to band camp last year i learned a little bit about making reeds and i really want to learn more. oh and i am in eight grade. When is it a good time to start making oboe reeds?
The best thing to do is to start taking private lessons. Oboe is a difficult instrument, as is any instrument, and the best way to improve is to take private lessons. Then, tell your teacher that you would like to devote some lesson time for reed making. They will be able to show you the right techniques and the best tools. Not only will you learn how to make reeds, but your playing will improve immensely from the lessons.

Making a ceramic figure from a silicon mold?
Has anyone ever made a ceramic figure using a silicon mold? I have one with some undercuts, so I need to make a mold with something more flexible than plaster. Thanks for any advice.Making a ceramic figure from a silicon mold?
It tain't going to work - something has to suck the moisture out of the slip to make it solidify. Your best bet would be to do one of two things:
1. Make a silicone (not silicon) mold of your original, make a plaster positive in the silicone mold then use plasticine clay to build out the undercuts on the plaster so you can pull a plaster pouring mold for the slip. After you make the clay positive and firm it up you can carve back to the details.
2. Make silicone molds of the undercut areas only and pack them with moderately soft clay to make an undercut detail. Make a plaster mold of a built out original as in 1. Instead of carving back the positive, cut out the built out areas and insert the details molded with silicone.
