What all needs to be done before making an offer on a house?

I found a house I really love that is right in my price range. I've filled out a loan application for the bank and now just need to give it back to them. A few months ago I had been preapproved for a loan so I'm pretty sure my loan will be approved. Is there anything else I need to do before I make an offer?What all needs to be done before making an offer on a house?
As long as you've got enough money for the down payment, closing costs, and to pay for appraisal and inspections on the house... go for it.What all needs to be done before making an offer on a house?
it depends on whether or not it is bank owned. Some bank owned homes/short sales now a days require all paperwork including;

2 months paycheck stubs

2 years W-2's

past 2 bank statements

copy of down payment check

pre-approval letter

and some paperwork that your realtor/agent needs to supply, because they want to make sure you are pre-approved with the lender that owns the home, not just your lender. It never used to be that way, before the housing market slumped the way it did, all you needed was an application and a check and that was it. Now since so many people bought more than they can afford and now lost their homes it is harder to get a loan, and the banks want to do all they can to make sure you can afford the home. Remember this is not required for all homes, your realtor will have to refer to the agent remarks in the MLS system before submitting the offer. I hope all works out for you and you are enjoying your new home soon!

The most important thing to do is understand the true market price for the home you are interested in. Making an offer that is 5% below the asking price could be a big mistake if it is overpriced by 10% or 20%! You need to look at recent comparable sales in the neighborhood. By recent I mean homes that closed within the past 90-180 days, the more recent the better. Good luck!
no if you are sure of approval. Just place in the offer any thing you may want such as closing cost and prepaid as well as inspections that you will want to make sure that you are getting a good home
