What kind of programmers i need for making online auction website?

I want start my online auction website. I dont know anything about programing. What kind of programres and what experience do they need to have for me to build a auction website? If i could get a list with all the people i need to hire, and some more information on how everything works would be really apreciated. Also if you could tell me around how much each one of these employees makes would be great too. Thanks in advance! What kind of programmers i need for making online auction website?

Don't forget to hire a few lawyers as well and security experts. there should be some opensource or off-the-shelf software available. I believe Joomla has an auction component available.

U.S. programmers make between 45,000 - 100,000 depending on their skill and location. If you're looking to do it right and from scratch, be prepared to spend at least $100,000.

Be careful when using offshore programmers and really be careful when using ';my neighbor's kid in high school can program';.
You can get web hosting from anywhere and there are a ton of consulting agencies that will set the site up for you. Given your experience level, a professional setting it up is not a bad way to go. I would still suggest learning HTML JAVA scripting and style sheets at the very least so you can check and maintain your site. Once you are comfortable, you can do all the updating yourself and get rid of the cost of having someone else do it for you.

  1. Hi, this is Nicole from Rent a Coder.

We may be able to help you. Our site offers live support via email or chat or phone seven days-a-week. And it has a requirements wizard and a project posting wizard to help you build a project that's easy for workers to understand. We're the only service that offers this.

Compare the 7 major services through this link: http://www.rentacoder.com/RentACoder/DotNet/misc/CompetitorInformation/WhyRentACoder_ForBuyers.aspx

Then be sure to read over our program policies as some types of job proposals are not allowed. You can find our Buyer Terms and Conditions at http://www.rentacoder.com/RentACoder/SoftwareBuyers/SoftwareBuyerLegal.asp.

If you have any questions, please let me know. You can also call in to talk to a facilitator 7 days a week, or email us (see http://www.rentacoder.com/RentACoder/misc/Feedback.asp).
