I would say many do it for money. Like those stupid ';Faces of Death'; movies they had a few years back, made LOTS of money I'm sure. Money is the ultimate greed and some people will do anything for it, even if its as sick as that.What is the purpose of somebody making a snuff film?
Its for shock value. When people don't have the talent to be really creative and make a good movie, that's the type of junk they put out.

They are sick friggin bastards and probably want to keep a memento of their sick actions so they can watch it over and over again.
I have no idea but i have been talking about snuff films lately.
